Los Ajaches Natural Monument

Playa Mujeres, Playa de Papagayo, Playa del Pozo y Playa Puerto Muelas are in fact the names of the 4 beaches that make up the so-called “Papagayo Beaches”.

It is in the south of the Island of Lanzarote (the most easterly in our Canary archipelago) and hardly half an hour from our privileged facilities, that we find this spectacular volcanic setting.

Los Ajaches is a volcanic range of great aesthetic and landscape importance and it has obvious monumentality.

Among the park’s prairies and valleys we finally discover this spot with clear waters and golden sand that is considered by many as one of the most beautiful and paradisiacal beaches on Lanzarote.

Thanks to its permanent warm and mild climate throughout the year (18-20º on average), the Canary Islands’ beaches are acknowledged as one of the archipelago’s main tourist attractions, and that’s why many people decide to enjoy their holidays on one of these seven fortunate islands.
